Admission Schedule

ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR THE SESSION 2016-2017

1. All admissions will be strictly on the basis of merit.

2.  For Hons. & General Admission process will start on and from 19.05.2016 in the following manner:

a) Application form for Admission must be submitted through the website of our college and no printed forms will be available from anywhere.

b) Application fee Rs. 160.00 (including bank charges) may be remitted in any branch of the Indian Bank or paid online by internet banking or debit/credit card.

 

c) Money receipt shall be obtained from bank at the time of submission of application fees for future correspondence.

d) The Provisional Merit List for all subjects will be published on the college website on 16.06.2016 at 7.00 PM.

e)  If any applicant’s name is missing from the merit list, the candidate has to contact the college authority within 17.06.2016 to 20.06.2016 (before 6 PM) with the Money receipt of his application.

f) The Final Merit List for all subjects will be published on the college website on 20.06.2016 at 7.00 PM.

g) Admission will start from 21.06.2016 and will continue till further notice.

h) All admission related information will be available on the college website (www.msccollege.org).

3.

a) Applicants for admission to 1st year classes must have passed H.S or equivalent examination.

b) Reservation of Seats: SC-22%, ST-6%, a few seats for OBC-A & OBC-B (Category wise No. of seats given below). Physically Handicapped -3% within each category and 18 Seats (4 seats in B.Com Hons, 10 in B.Com General and 4 in B A General) shall be reserved for outstanding Sports Personalities (participated at least in District level or Division Level)

c) Students applying for admission in B.Com. Honours course must pass with either Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organization, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office and Secretarial Practice, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accountancy & Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management.

d) Students applying for admission in B.Com. General course must pass with either Accountancy/ Business Economics including Business Mathematics/ Business Organization/

Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics/ Commerce/ Accounts/ Business Studies/ Financial Accounting/ Office and Secretarial Practice/ Elements of Cost Accountancy and Auditing/ Book keeping/ Business Mathematics/ Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management.

e) The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate of best 4 subjects (Marks in ENVS as Compulsory subject shall not be taken into account).
