Welcome To Our Site

New - comers ! Come hither, come hither, come hither to our college. We should be all excited to have you as one of our student population. Maharaja Srischandra college is an evening college, not a sun-set college because it starts from 4.15 P.M (I.T. Classes from 3.15 p.m) and continues upto 9 p.m. more or less, as the subject-wise routine demands and varies on different days.

Ours is a college for Bachelor's degree (under-graduate college) which offers B.A, B.Com. and B.Sc. in a restricted sense with Economics and Geography.

Our college stands on Bhupen Basu Avenue though its address is 20, Ramkanto Bose Street in the mixed vicinity of Shyambazar and Bagbazar. Its location is conveniently convenient with the Metro Railway Station within a stone’s throw and the Shyambazar five-point just a few steps away with the robust statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra on horseback indicating the cardinal directions. Busy bus service is always available. Howrah, Sealdah, Bidhannagar and Dum Dum Railway stations are easily reachable. Maharaja Srischandra is a Co-Ed college and there prevails a congenial, serene and edu-friendly ambience for those stepping first in college life. Apart from exam-oriented academic feed-back, this college provides manifold co-curricular programmes such as NCC, NSS, sports and games, cultural events. Teachers of the college are highly qualified and dignified. They not only teach but instil affection in the hearts of the students in the class-rooms. Outside the class-rooms they personally listen to the individual problems of the taught and afford them assistance as best they can. You can feel quite at home in the college compound. All are welcome to add to the glory and tradition of this college, ever ready to make a man of you.
